We all want to know. What do we need to do to have an abundant life?
Most of us spend our lives searching for ways to improve our life, the life of our family and how we feel. You’ll find thousands of ideas all over the internet, and in self-help books and magazines. It’s overwhelming.
Jesus makes it simple for us today. Today’s readings offer us the three lessons we need most:
Lesson #1: Life comes only through death.
Lesson #2: Only by spending life can we keep it.
Lesson #3: Greatness comes through selfless and committed service.
Discuss with your family ways how each of you individually and together can commit to living each day with these three lessons in mind. Check in with other often to see how you’re doing … and how it’s changing your life and the lives of those around you.
