A Memory Through New Eyes: Family Reflection Video

A Memory Through New Eyes: Family Reflection Video

Love thy Neighbor

I didn’t know this place exactly, but I was comfortable enough to give a bit of a tour…

Some time ago, when I was a visiting priest at various other parishes, two men walked in as I was preparing early for a mass at a church I had never been to. They had not been inside a Catholic church, and asked me all sort of things about what this was, and what that was for. Though I had only just arrived at this building myself, I knew much of what they were asking. Through these men, I was able to see the faith through new eyes, as they did.

We take so much for granted, but the beauty in God is always at work. When strangers come into our home and what to know: what is so valuable about all these things? May we be filled with the Grace to answer them, no matter where we are.

Do you work to welcome people into your parish or into the faith? What questions do you get asked most often?

Lord, guide us, so that we may guide our brothers and sisters less familiar with Christ to your Great Glory.
