A New Year, A New Creation: Family Reflection Video

A New Year, A New Creation: Family Reflection Video

Strengthening family unity  |  Seasonal Reflections

It is no accident we hear these words on the last day of the year.

No truer or more beautiful words have ever been spoken. “In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God.” Today, we find ourselves looking back at the last year, and forward to the new year. Families, take time this day to share experiences to help our children to reflect, to learn, to grow from these things. So they may do more than make superficial resolutions.

The year is the end of an old covenant, and the coming of a new creation, with all its grace, new opportunities, new beginnings, and new hope.

May our New Year’s Eve reflection be this: how have we and how will we receive that grace and put it into practice –especially in our homes?
