A Treasure Beyond the Family: Family Reflection Video

Celebrating family life

What is your greatest treasure?

Growing, up my family did not have much, but there was so much joy at home because we were each other’s greatest treasure. We always prayed together as a family, and I believe that has brought us to where we are today. However, in the familiar surroundings of family, school, and church, God still had hidden a greater treasure for me: a deeper more committed relationship with Him and for Him. Thus, I became a priest.

God gave us a treasure of his own: Jesus. The more we share the good things we have learned from our families, the more we are making God’s mission our mission.

What treasure do you seek as a family? How do we share God’s treasures?

We pray that the Lord blesses our families today, our greatest gifts. Let us always remember they are our greatest treasures.
