Amidst Life’s Potholes: Family Reflection Video

Amidst Life’s Potholes: Family Reflection Video

Holy lives of inspiration  |  Seasonal Reflections

As our zeal for following Jesus increases - through our acts of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving - so can the battles we face.

Today’s readings are of great contrast … the prophet Isaiah’s words and deeds, compared to Judas Iscariot’s. Isaiah gives thanks to God and Judas seeks to sell the Son of God out.

Isaiah reminds us that God has given each of us what we need for this day and for the rest of our lives. Whether we feel we are lacking in courage or answers or faith or strength, the key is to simply trust in God, and to call out to the loving Father and His Son, our Lord. Pray for the grace found in the Holy Spirit that allows us to listen, speak, and act in a holy and loving way.

Have you stumbled a bit during this season of Lent? Perhaps even gotten discouraged? It’s not too late to look through the confident and hope-filled eyes of Isaiah to be uplifted.

May you and your family draw strength from today’s message as we journey through this Holy Week. God bless you.
