Are You Martha or Mary? Family Reflection Video

Holy lives of inspiration

Where are our attentions focused?

Consider the choices we make every day. No matter our flexible or rigid schedules, we each have the ability to make time for prayer and reflection to give us perspective. Today’s saint, John Leonardi, had invested significant time into becoming a pharmacist, but he answered God’s call and gave it all up to follow Christ.

Martha and Mary may have had differing priorities, but Jesus tells us that if we find what really matters in our lives and also find God in it, that we are doing the will of God in whatever our day brings.

What do we prioritize? Do these get in the way of hearing Jesus?

May we put aside our worries and open our hearts to hearing God’s Word today.
