Glory to God in the Highest! Blessed Christmas to you, from all of us here at Family Rosary. Even though it is such as strange Christmas, praise Him that we are all here together to celebrate Christ among us and to be touched by His peace!
In my years of service as a priest in our Family Rosary mission around the world, I have lived and celebrated Christmas in many places; and I have seen that Christmas itself is a something of a miracle! EVERYWHERE, even where people aren’t Christians, a gentle but perceptible peace settles over the planet, like a respite, a touch of grace.
That’s what we need now. Let it come now!
It has been a hard year, yet one to awaken in us a longing for something more. Brushing up with our fragility can help us know that there is more, something beyond us.
We celebrate today that truly the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us. God has entered our world in a new and definitive way when that babe was born to Mary. The long-awaited Messiah comes to conquer sin and death. He comes to stay. God with us. We open our hearts to Him now to let Him show Himself now. Christ Himself wants to enter our homes. Our Mother Mary wants us to know His presence in love, in family, in reconciliation, in community. He surrounds you now with love and peace – especially in the middle of what you are going through now. He longs that you know that He is your strength, your peace, and our light.
It has been a blessing and a privilege for all of us here at Family Rosary to share struggles, hopes, and faith with you and your families, particularly in this COVID year! We are grateful to have shared the Lord’s love, especially in the prayer of the Holy Rosary.
Together now we recommit ourselves with Our Lady in her great mission of showing Christ to the World and calling all, especially families, to find their peace and their way in HIM through prayer. Let us continue to be united with our Mother Mary and with Venerable Father Peyton in this important mission in 2021! The Family That Prays Together Stays Together.
Blessed Christmas to you all!
