Crossing the Red Seas of Our Life: Family Reflection Video

Strengthening family unity  |  Healing the family

I recently attended a conference on family life, and one speaker caught my attention.

Check out the homily video here.

The speaker made us aware of challenges to society: mental illness, violence, drug addiction, and suicide. Among young people, these are increasing because of distrust, loneliness, and despair. As God’s family, we need to know God has a vision for families.

Jesus tells us today that we are all members of his family, making us responsible for each other, especially the children. We must serve as point of support and guidance to our families; there for them when times are hard, and standing alongside them in their times of struggle.

How do you show your family you are there for them?

Lord, guide us to be beacons of your light for all those who are suffering.
