Do We Know What We’re Asking For? Family Reflection Video

Strengthening family unity

It’s not first-come-first-serve, it’s more than that…

A mother of two boys asks Jesus today if he will keep her sons close, one on either side of him, always. Jesus replies that she does not know what she asks; meaning standing by him is more than just keeping close. It will take sacrifice, service, and struggle.

When we honor Jesus in our lives, we begin a new part of our walk with him. We have no idea what will be asked of us particularly, but in choosing to follow, we begin a transformation in our lives.

How do you follow Jesus?
