Dream Big! Family Reflection Video

Dream Big! Family Reflection Video

Why pray?  |  Holy lives of inspiration

This week opens God’s word to us in a most surprising way. If you stand still and quiet before the manger and allow the awe of this moment to penetrate your being, it might turn everything upside down!

Allow me to make this concrete with three of our friends from scripture:

  • From Ahaz we learn God is the one seeking you, looking to share his crazy dream with you.
  • From Zechariah we learn to trust what the Lord promised us.
  • From Joseph we learn that God can open for us a life of new meaning, purpose and grace.

I firmly believe that God wants you and me to dream big! To open our hearts and minds wide enough to take in what God wants to offer us. God is always trying to enlarge our hearts enough to embrace his dream for us, especially through prayer.

This is an incomparable gift from God! Are you ready to accept it? If not, what do you need to do to get ready?
