Dreams of Our Life: Family Reflection Video

Strengthening family unity  |  Seasonal Reflections

God’s plans are bigger than our own…

We know what it is like to have dreams. Some come at night, while we are sleeping, some during the day when we are not paying attention. Some dreams are sweet, some are horror. Some let us sleep peacefully, and some keep us up; worried about what is to come.

Joseph had a great dream for his family life with Mary. His dream was shattered when he realized Mary was with child through the Holy Spirit. So God sends an angel to Joseph in a dream, to calm his worries. Through the intervention of God, Joseph’s dream of forming a family becomes real with the birth of Jesus.

Do we hold onto our own plans, or trust in God’s plan?

Let this Advent time bring us more sweet dreams to make our life beautiful and full of hope for our families.
