Essence of Our Existence: Family Reflection Video

Strengthening family unity  |  Return to the Church

It is almost impossible to separate the sharing of bread and the gift of love. We become what we consume. Through this sharing, God offers his people abundant life … but we can miss it.

The documentary I mentioned, The Dating Project, reviews the struggle of making sense of the essence of our existence. Some reasons cited were the influence of the digital world, our busy schedules, and/or the uncertainty involved in entering into a committed relationship.

God gives us a life which sustains us not only now in this age but also in the age to come. Our refusal to accept the natural order of things, and the union with God and one another, would be like wandering in the wilderness of a culture of death.

Think about this. The choice is ours. Are we still wandering in the wilderness of our existing culture or do we embrace the culture God provides, full of life, love and joy?

Listen closely. I pray you and your family will hear the personal invitation from Jesus for a deeper relationship with him.
