Healing the family

Researchers have found many painful things…

A researcher who took up a 25-year study on the effects of divorce on children said, “Almost half of children of divorces enter adulthood as worried, under-achieving, self-depreciating, and sometimes angry young men and women.”

In today’s Gospel, Jesus discusses divorce and remarriage, using the opportunity to teach what is relevant, even today! A home based on a great marriage is a place where we can be ourselves, a refuge, and where we can grow through harmony and conflict. By praying together, families share an intimate connection through God’s grace and holiness.

How does your family like to pray? How do you involve all members?

Pray with your family today, and may God bless them!
