Family Reflection Video: A Disciple of Christ is Humble, Hungry and Smart

inspiration  |  saints

Advent is a time of waiting and preparing for Christ. It’s a time to grow in our faith. By knowing and personally experiencing Jesus in our lives, we become humble, hungry and smart, just as Saint Catherine of Siena did. She experienced intimacy with Mary, the saints and Jesus.

What can you and your family do this Advent season to grow closer to Christ? Reading the Bible, daily personal and family prayer, frequenting the sacraments, especially the Eucharist, and humble service to others, just to name a few.

When you pray as a family, do you remember that God is present there with you? Share what that feels like with one another!

I pray you and your family will experience a joy and hope filled Advent Season!
