Family Reflection Video: All In

Family Reflection Video: All In

inspiration  |  saints

A new book just released by Ave Maria Press called All In  by Pat Gohn, encourages us to become aware of one thing.

Who would have thought that funny 1991 film would have such a profound message for us to ponder today!

What's your one thing? What's the secret of life? What brings you the most joy? What defines your life?

In today's Gospel, the young man Jesus spoke to was not ready to be “all in.” However, when we study the lives of the saints, we learn they were shining examples of trusting their lives to the living God.

Take a little inventory of where you are right now with Jesus Christ and his Body, the Church and discuss it with your family. Are you deliberately devoted, dedicated, searching, dabbling, discovering, discouraged or unsure? How can we be “all in” in our family life, in our Church, in our work?

Faith is an attitude of trust in the presence of God. So do not worry and depend on God for everything. God bless you and your family and thank you for spending this time with us.
