Family Reflection Video: Always Look to the Cross of Jesus

strength and hope

In both good times and bad, we look to the Cross for joy and comfort.

Whether we are celebrating or mourning, we gaze upward to the Cross of Christ and see a Cross that Jesus transformed from a means of public humiliation and death to a sign of hope and our means of salvation and Eternal life. This helps us realize what our Father’s love is capable of doing.

Jesus has won the victory over sin and death and as we carry both burdens and joys, He calls us to unite them to Him on the very Cross that is our salvation. Discuss with your family the significance of the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross. Do you sense this Holy Cross in both good and bad times?

The Holy Cross of Jesus is our symbol of strength and hope, love and faith. God bless you and your family.
