Family Reflection Video: Because I Know the Psalm

Family Reflection Video: Because I Know the Psalm

faithfulness  |  Pope-Francis  |  strength and hope

Pope Francis breaks away from the prepared text to offer some beautiful, humble and wise advice to 10 newly ordained priests in Rome. Actually, his advice can inspire us too today!

Pope Francis paints a beautiful image of Jesus with his words; a simple, merciful, compassionate and joyful shepherd … the pastor of the people of God.

“My sheep know me.” This is a significant message in the bible and we are very familiar with these words. But how well do we really know Jesus? Do we speak to him each day? Do we consult him when making important decisions? As a family, discuss how you can strengthen your daily relationship with Jesus. How can you help each other do that?

Don’t just learn the words. Get to know the Shepherd. God bless you and your family and thank you for visiting us today.
