Family Reflection Video: Being Jesus to Others at Home!

“Use all your potential for service to others, or it dries up.”

In our day-to-day life, we are often cautious and afraid to be totally present. What is holding us back? Jesus offers us the fullness of life right where we are! He comes to us through the people we encounter every day.

The world’s standards and those of God’s kingdom differ. Can you and your family think of some examples? Discuss how each of you can better serve each other.

Jesus was totally present … ready and willing to use His full potential to serve others … not to receive but to give. My friends, with Jesus as our example, I pray you find the joy and fullness of life by doing the same.

Father Pinto Paul C.S.C., ordained a priest in the Congregation of Holy Cross in 1999, worked with tribal populations in northeast India as a missionary for ten years. In 2010 he came to the US for further studies. While working as a campus minister at Stonehill College, he assisted pastors in local parishes, led seminars and workshops for teachers and students in the US and earned a master’s degree in Educational Administration from Boston College and a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Lesley University, Cambridge. He is currently working as the International Director of the Boston-based Holy Cross Family Ministries with missions in 18 countries.
