Family Reflection Video: Can I Tell You Something?

As we all know, it is a lot easier to go and complain to someone who will take our side than to face the person we complain about.

Constructive criticism is actually an act of charity toward the other who may or may not know how their actions have been sinful or hurtful, or both. Instead of complaining about someone, Jesus gave us an alternative plan: speak to them first. If they listen, then all is well; but if not, bring in an objective party. If that does not work, turn to the church for guidance.

This course of actions involves no revenge or bitterness, just listening. Discuss with your family how you can work together on listening and speaking with the intent of healing and understanding.

May God bless your words and use them for healing rather than hurting.
