Family Reflection Video: Children of the Light

Family Reflection Video: Children of the Light

faithfulness  |  strength and hope  |  trust

Can you imagine not being afraid of anything? Sounds like it’s impossible … but is it?

Often we give in to negative thoughts and “demons”; those powerful psychological or emotional drives that seem to control our lives or propel us into danger or harm. But Jesus shows power and authority over such run-away human inclinations and addictions.

Think about situations in your life that you’re afraid of … or a behavior you just can’t seem to break. Pray to God and ask Him to help release you from their hold. You may have to fast and plead with tears in your eyes. Humbly cooperate with Him as he works to answer your prayers.

Each day we are invited to encounter Jesus and find new integrity and peace. We are “children of the light,” dear friends. We do not have to be afraid.

"I believe that I shall see the good things of the Lord in the land of the living.”

Psalm 27:13
