Family Reflection Video: Identifying the Truth

Family Reflection Video: Identifying the Truth

faithfulness  |  Lent  |  trust

If “false news” is skillfully disguised in our social-media-driven society, how do we know what’s real and what isn’t?

Recognizing the truth only comes through God. To know the truth we must take three steps (1) Build a personal relationship with Jesus, (2) Seek Jesus’ help and guidance of the Holy Spirit to free ourselves from bad habits, unhealthy attachments and addictions, and (3) Freely submit our hearts, minds and will to the all-merciful, all-loving and all-wise God.

True freedom comes from our relationship with God. Take time with your family to think about how you can strengthen this relationship, both as a family and personally. What do you need to do to identify the truth that will set you free?

It’s been a joy spending this time with you today, my friends. God bless you and your family.
