Hello and thank you for having me! I am Father Jerome, a good friend of Father Pinto. Along with my recent responsibilities as a General Assistant on the General Council for the Congregation of the Holy Cross, I work closely with French and English speaking pilgrims at Saint Joseph’s Oratory in Quebec.
I’m pleased to reflect with you today on refocusing our gaze to the non-material reality of life. That is, the lasting reality.
If you have a moment today, ask if you and your family are holding on to any unnecessary material goods too tightly? Are things like technological devices, addictive substances, or the latest fashion trends consuming you and your family’s lives? What can you do to change this?
I pray through the intercession of Mary our Mother, that you and your family give more attention to the invisible realities of life and that your inner being, your soul, is enriched. Amen.
