Family Reflection Video: Lenten Spring-Cleaning

Family Reflection Video: Lenten Spring-Cleaning

lent  |  peace

Here’s a story that’s bound to make you laugh with an enriching lesson to carry with you on your Lenten journey!

Are you holding onto something heavy in your heart, like the rotting potatoes in the story? You will have to carry that with you wherever you go. Throw it away now. Forgive those who have offended you, and enjoy life with the freshness of love that God has made for all to enjoy!

Set aside some family time today to think about how you appreciate each other. Are there any barriers in your heart stopping you from loving your family members to the fullest? Do you need to ask for forgiveness or do you need to offer your forgiveness? It’s too heavy and rotten to continue carrying ... let it go.

Let's pray that our Mother of Mercy helps us understand and forgive each other during this special season. Let the Lenten spring-cleaning in your family begin!
