Family Reflection Video: Let Him Enter Your Boat

faithfulness  |  Learn more about our faith

Just show me a sign! Have you ever heard someone say this … or have you said it yourself? Sometimes we need direction or just want to know that our prayers are being heard.

God comes, often unbidden and unexpected, into our lives and directs us with His loving hand. His presence is pure grace. You will not be able to demand signs from God. Rather, do what the disciples did and let him enter your boat.

It’s not always easy to let go of control and allow God to take over. Reflect back with your family about a time, an event or idea that didn’t go as planned … but ended up turning out better than you could have imagined. How do you see God’s guiding grace in this situation?

If you let Jesus into the boat of your life you will be filled with joy. Trust in His plan for you and your family. Thank you for joining us today! May God bless each of you.
