Family Reflection Video: Lifeline of Love and Holiness

Family Reflection Video: Lifeline of Love and Holiness

Lent  |  peace  |  trust

Children especially have a difficult time following the rules. My brother and I were good examples of this.

It’s difficult to imagine a world that could survive without a set of fundamental principles and moral guides to live daily life. Similar to the laws in our society, God’s commandments protect us and give us unimaginable freedoms … they are our lifeline of love and holiness.

Each of God’s commands are equally important. Breaking our commitment, no matter how small it may be, still puts us at fault. Talk with your family about the Ten Commandments. Do remember what they are? What would our world be like without them? Why do you think God gave them to us?

We keep you and your family in our prayers here at the Father Peyton Center. God bless you, my friends.

For additional reading: Deuteronomy 4:1, 5-9 and Matthew 5:17-19.
