Family Reflection Video: Never Give Up Hope

Prayers never go unanswered so never give up hope.

We all struggle between our natural instincts and the ways of the Lord. Strive to embody the Beatitudes, the moral code for Christian living, and take comfort in knowing our God is a God who listens to our prayer.

“Rejoice and leap for joy on that day! Behold, your reward will be great in heaven” (Luke 6:23). Talk about the Beatitudes with your family. Is there one you want to work on?

In our lives we are invited to pursue the BE-attitudes given to us by Jesus and set our minds on “what is above.” If you do this and pray, know that God hears you. Don’t give up hope.

Father Pinto Paul, C.S.C., Ph.D., serves as the International Director of Holy Cross Family Ministries (HCFM). In this role, he provides leadership and support to HCFM ministries in 18 countries across 6 continents, helping advance the mission of strengthening family prayer, faith formation, and spiritual life around the world. Originally from Kerala, India, Father Pinto spent ten years as a missionary in Tripura with the Northeast Province of the Congregation of Holy Cross. Before his appointment as International Director, he served as Special Assistant to the President of Holy Cross Family Ministries. He also ministered for six years in Campus Ministry at Stonehill College, accompanying students in their faith formation, leadership development, and spiritual growth.
