Family Reflection Video: On Fire for Jesus

Family Reflection Video: On Fire for Jesus

inspiration  |  joyful  |  saints

How would you describe your faith? Is it cold? Is it lukewarm? Or is it blazing like a fire? There are many role models in the church who are filled with happiness to live a life on fire for the Lord. Saint Albert the Great, whose feast we celebrate today, and Zacchaeus, from today’s Gospel reading, both teach us how to willingly open our hearts to the happiness and joy Jesus wants to share with us.

When you gather with your family or close friends tonight, talk about your faith. Is it on fire? Discuss the 3 things the story of Zacchaeus teaches us about becoming truly happy and on fire for the Lord.

I would like to close our time together today in prayer:

Father, Jesus knocks at the door

to my heart and family home today.

When we pray as a family we

open the door to Him and you.

Help us to pray together daily

and bond together in your peace.

Amen.
