Family Reflection Video: Prayer Makes All the Difference

peace  |  trust

The family that prays will have the Risen Lord Jesus as a frequent guest in their home.

God never tires of hearing us speak prayers from our heart. A contemporary story by Venerable Fulton Sheen explains the importance of repetitive prayer as practiced in the Rosary. God will never grow weary of our prayers to his beloved Mother.

Encourage your family to be quick to reach out toward God not only when engaged in silent prayer, but also in daily tasks. Call Him to mind so that your everyday actions and words may be seasoned with the salt of God’s love. How can you and your family deepen your prayer life and include both types of praying throughout your day? Help each other come up with ideas!

What Father Patrick Peyton, C.S.C. said is true, “The family that prays together stays together.” Continue praying with your family. God bless.
