Family Reflection Video: Procrastination

Family Reflection Video: Procrastination

I’ll have time to do that tomorrow. Tomorrow I will live according to my priorities. Sound familiar? There’s a little procrastination in all of us.

Today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday.

Jesus tells us in many ways that it is better to be spiritually healthy rather than be cured physically. He means the spiritual life and eternal life are more important than the physical life here on earth. The readings today remind us not to delay and to make it a priority today. Don’t put it off from day to day. What if we don’t get tomorrow?

Parents are called to nurture their children in ways of the Lord and prepare them for the ultimate goal of eternal life. We’re all in this process of preparation. We know it’s important to live each day with these priorities. What holds us back? Discuss this with your family and find ways you can help each other to stop procrastinating.

Begin your path of conversion today. It is a path of wisdom! Live your day today to the best of your ability. God bless you friends!
