Family Reflection Video: Putting Others First

Family Reflection Video: Putting Others First

service  |  inspiration

“A life well lived is a life lived for others.” Today we reflect upon a rule to live by: keeping others ahead of ourselves.

Do not do anything from selfish motives; not to crave attention, recognition or even thanks. Rather, serve others to simply serve. As we heard in the reading today, we “look out not for [our] own interests, but … for those of others” (Philippians 2:1-4).

Are you willing to place yourself at the service of others without expecting anything in return? Talk to your families tonight about how you can selflessly give back. In the comment box below, please tell us the ideas you come up with!

We pray for you and your family every day at the Peyton Center. Thank you for keeping us a part of your spiritual life!
