Family Reflection Video: St. John the Baptist

What comes to mind when you hear the name John the Baptist?

John the Baptist’s zeal was focused on leading souls to Christ. He derived fulfillment in life knowing that his work brought joy to the Lord. Saint John the Baptist can inspire each of us to live, love and serve God in a way that includes looking around and reaching out to others in need.

God has given each of us a mission that we discover throughout our lives, we just have to take the time to listen. Make a list of ways you can follow John the Baptist’s lead in helping all those you encounter. Some ideas may include: inviting someone to Mass with your family or reading a book about faith enrichment together.

Pray with your family that you all will utilize the zeal inside your hearts to hear God’s call and serve Him. May God bless you on this Feast of the Passion of Saint John the Baptist.
