Family Reflection Video: The Building Blocks of Our Spiritual Life

Family Reflection Video: The Building Blocks of Our Spiritual Life

faithfulness  |  joyful

What was the first thing you did this morning? Did you start your day in prayer like Jesus always did?

Let’s briefly review these three basic building blocks to help deepen our spiritual lives:

(1) Identity – It all begins here. How well do you know yourself? This discovery is revealed in prayer. It is impossible to know Jesus without developing daily conversation with Him.

(2) Relationship – You must first connect yourself with God and then with your brothers and sisters. Only then can you truly surround yourself with people who positively feed your soul and spiritual well-being.

(3) Vocation – When you’re connected in your relationship with God and you know yourself to the core, nothing can stop you in your vocation.

Jesus asks us to pray, love God and others, and increase our faith by going beyond the here and now to a greater vocation of being. Talk about these three building blocks with your family and friends. How does your identity impact your relationship and vocation?

Thank you for joining me today, friends. God bless you and your family.
