Family Reflection Video: The Most Wounded Among Us

Family Reflection Video: The Most Wounded Among Us

service  |  strength and hope

It might be difficult to recognize someone who’s wounded. Today’s reflection starts with a story where I happened upon a wounded soul on my own front porch.

If you feel wounded take solace in knowing there is hope. Hope in the recognition that the Lord who created us can heal and renew even the most wounded among us.

If we have a selfish or materialistic outlook we may fail to appreciate the value of Divine things, and we end up pushing God out of our lives. Step away from your belongings and openly love those who are hurting. Young ones will surely follow your model and a deep spirituality will spread throughout generations.

If you know someone who is feeling wounded, renew their faith. Encourage your family to take time to care and tend to these people in your life. Put aside all distractions of daily life and let your love and God’s love fill them with hope.

In our prayers today, let’s ask Jesus to stay with us and bring His healing grace to all of us. God bless you and your family.
