Family Reflection Video: Unfinished Business

Family Reflection Video: Unfinished Business

celebration  |  strength and hope  |  Learn more about our faith

Many people die with unfinished business … broken relationships, sins, etc. Purgatory is a place those souls go to prepare and be cleansed of their sins before they peacefully enter heaven. Today in the Church, on this solemn commemoration of All Souls Day, we remember those family and friends who have died and pray for the souls in purgatory.

Unfinished business. We all have some. This year of Mercy gives you and me many opportunities to experience the Mercy of God and encourages us to think about and address any unfinished business.

When you get your family together today, either in person, by phone or through social media, pause to remember those family and friends who have died. Pray for them together as a family. Thank God for them! And please pray for those who have died but have been forgotten.

We keep you and your family, living and deceased, in our prayers today. God bless you.
