Family Reflection Video: We Need a Pulse

faithfulness  |  saints  |  easter

Today I share an amazing story of a resurrection that I witnessed recently in my hometown of Old Town, Maine.

The students had to see Officer King to believe he was actually alive and still among them. Did we have to see the Resurrection of Jesus to believe in it? These fifty days of Easter draw us into the deep richness and mystery of the Death and Resurrection of Jesus, the Son of God, true man and true God.

Today is the feast of Saint Athanasius, who is remembered as a courageous and great defender of the divinity of Jesus. Think about what it means to be a great defender of our faith then talk about it with your family. Could you each be as courageous and confident responding to someone who accuses you and tries to break down your belief in Jesus? Have you ever been in a situation like that? How did you react?

May all the blessings and joy of Easter be with you and your family today.
