Family Reflection Video: What Do You Bring to the Table?

inspiration  |  saints

When you looked in the mirror this morning, what did you see? What do you think God saw?

In Jesus we can discover the ways in which we were created to help one another and find meaning in our lives. Saint Vincent de Paul is a wonderful role model in recognizing the gifts and flaws God has given each of us to use in His plan for our lives.

At times we fail to see how wonderfully we have been made and that we each have a God-given purpose. Do you ever feel discouraged because you’re not good at something? Discuss with your family about recognizing that God doesn’t expect you to “be the best” at everything. He has given you your special talents for a reason. Share what you think the special gifts and talents are of each member of your family.

May we look to God and see not only our flaws, but what gifts He has given us to fulfill His call for our lives. May God bless you!
