A friend reminded me of how much families need each other…
I was talking with Isabel, one of our wonderful volunteers at Holy Cross Family Ministries, about her family in Venezuela. Her father is there, and she cannot go visit him because of the political situation, but he is able to come here to the United States to see her! It will be a great family reunion.
We heard today about Joseph reuniting with his father after so many years. During those years, the father was afraid he would never see his children again before he died, but when he comes to Egypt, their family is brought back together again.
Let us pray for the healing and reconciliation of parents and their children; for assistance for struggling families, and a fulfilled life for those who worry about being apart.
