Finding the Way to Peace in a Busy World: Family Reflection Video

Seasonal Reflections

This time of year comes with a lot of to-do lists…

It gets stressful organizing family gatherings, shopping, decorating, baking, and so many other things that we do to prepare for the birth of Jesus. At the same time, we might be longing for a truer experience of this holy time.

The reading from Isaiah today says, “I am the Lord your God, teach you what is for your good, and lead you on the way you should go.” Every so often, we need to hear these words to help us remember that everything doesn’t depend upon us. God is here for us if we will only stop and listen to his words.

Have I listened recently? What could God be trying to say to me?

Pray today for open ears, listening for God’s voice to guide you.
