The view made me think of living each day fully…
Some years ago, I was blessed to be able to visit the Holy Land, and found myself on a hillside in Galilee. Looking out over the land, I was taken with how unique and profound to be in this place, not only physically, but as a place of existing.
As we return to Ordinary Time, we are immersed right into the Sermon on the Mount. This is a proclamation of the law, the law of the new and eternal covenant that will be fulfilled by Jesus’ death on the cross. Jesus is inviting us to truly change our hearts to live in the humble, authentic love he offers us. Are we willing to welcome His teaching?
Pray for our hearts and minds to be open, that we may let in what Jesus wants for us.
