God Releases the Power in Us: Family Reflection Video

God Releases the Power in Us: Family Reflection Video

bibleverse  |  DailyFamilyPrayer  |  Why pray?

A little can go a long way, especially when God is on our side.

In today’s Gospel passage, Jesus compares the Kingdom of God to yeast which ferments dough to produce bread. I have always wondered how such a small amount of yeast could make dough rise so much. Through deep reflection, I have learned that its power is released when mixed well with the dough.

Like the yeast, our powers are only released when we do not walk alone. God is the one who picks us up and makes us rise each day like bread. When we call on Him, we can see changes in ourselves, our families, and our communities – God is the driving force in our lives.

Have you seen changes in yourself, your family, or your community after calling on the presence of the Lord?
