Grandparent’s Day: Family Reflection Video

Grandparent’s Day: Family Reflection Video

Strengthening family unity

My grandparents were great people. They were caring and respected by all.

In raising so many children and grandchildren up to be good people of faith, my grandparents prayed, gathered friends, and filled the house with joy. We hear very little of Jesus’ grandparents, but what we do know is they raised his mother Mary to be a humble, patient young woman, full of service and love.

Last week, Father Pinto and I heard a speaker who talked about “The Way God Teaches” and he spoke of how God reveals Himself to us in so many ways, we might miss Him at first. If we look into the past generations, we can find where God has guided our family in the spirit of “the family that prays together stays together.”

How do you celebrate grandparents?

May God bless all grandparents today! They are so needed and loved.
