Guardian Angels: Family Reflection Video

Celebrating family life

“Wow, that was so close!”

We have all felt at some point that the timing of something that happened (or didn’t happen) was so incredible, like someone was watching out for us. Many of us were told about guardian angels when we were little –they were like friends who never rested in protecting us. In the film It’s a Wonderful Life, protagonist George meets his guardian angel, Clarence, while going through a major life crisis. Clarence shows George the impact he has had on everyone he has met; convincing George not to throw his life away.

Though we might sometimes be oblivious and even resistant to their guidance, our angels periodically remind us of our reasons for gratitude and hope. They may not all be named Clarence, but each of us is at least blessed to have one.

What make you think that “someone” is looking out for you? Have you ever felt your guardian angel’s guiding hand?

Let’s pray in thanks for our guardian angels today and offer up a prayer for them too!
