Hail Holy Queen: Family Reflection Video

Holy lives of inspiration  |  Seasonal Reflections

Mary, Queen of Heaven and Earth! We’re beginning the month with the Crowning of our Mary’s statue in front of The Father Peyton Center.

Our statue of Mary welcomes us each morning and every guest throughout the day. As we enter and leave the ministry, we must drive around her atop a small mound of earth placed there just for her. She’s 12 feet tall and stands upon a 4-foot pedestal.

A beautiful curved marble bench is placed in front of the statue. Sitting on it, you face her. It’s the perfect place for rest, reflection, prayer or simply to gaze at her. The bench is engraved with Father Peyton’s last words, “Mary, my Queen, my Mother.”

Sitting there, looking up at her, she looks especially beautiful today with her head adorned with a crown of fresh flowers.

May Mary,

Queen and Disciple,

and Mother of us all,

hear you,

pray with you and for you,

and guide you.

May she lead you to her Son, Jesus.

Amen.
