Helping Each Other to See Clearly: Family Reflection Video

Return to the Church

What you can learn from losing your glasses for a record-breaking 10 hours!

How easy it is to get distracted by your daily life when you lose something essential to living it. Like Solomon in today’s reading, we can likely come up with versions of false gods that take us away from our worship of God, the Father. Things like sports, social media, alcohol and luxurious items can gradually become more important than God in our lives.

That’s why our families and friends are so important, so we can help each other find our way back to reclaim what is right and good! Is there someone you need to reach out to help steer them back to their relationship with God?

May the mother in today’s Gospel be our inspiration to ask Jesus to help our family members have the clarity of faith to follow Him first and let everything else fall into its proper place.
