Increase Our Faith: Family Reflection Video

Strengthening family unity

When someone wrongs you seven times in one day and then asks for your forgiveness, it’s difficult to choose mercy.

It’s impossible to find the strength to forgive those who have hurt, or used us, on our own. Just like the disciples did in today’s Gospel, we need to turn to the Lord, the most powerful source of love, and ask him to increase our faith.

The story behind the famous song God Bless America is a great example of remembering that the true source of our strength and faith lies in the Living God. We must sing out to God for renewal of spirit and faith. Listen to God Bless America with your family tonight. How do you feel the song continues to empower listeners to ask God for an increase in faith?

We continue to keep you and your family in prayer every day during Rosary and Mass here at the Father Peyton Center. God bless you.
