Seasonal Reflections

The season of Lent seems to be slow moving, pensive, and lifeless.

I’m sure you have heard over the last few days that Lent is the springtime of life. The key ingredients we need are: retrospection, repentance, and Renewal. To see the obstacles before us. To pray for our relationship with God. Being open for a new life within us.

Jesus said fasting can move mountains. He himself fasted and prayed before beginning his mission. Throughout the Bible, the experience of fasting has resulted in a great connection with God. Have you ever experience the benefits of fasting and praying? Are you willing to fast and pray for a renewed relationship with God?

We pray for patience today, my friends; may we know Lent in our hearts and feel its joy!
