Jesus Stayed with Me: Family Reflection Video

Jesus Stayed with Me: Family Reflection Video

Why pray?

The eyes of my friend showed me how Jesus is a friend to all of us.

Father Thomas Feeley, C.S.C. taught philosophy, loved long walks, and preached the Catholic faith wherever he went. He was so energetic and joyful, it surprised me one day when he said he needed to stop and rest. We later found out that he had a medical condition that would bring him to the Kingdom of Heaven.

Father Feeley never stopped praying for healing and told me that he felt like Martha, Mary, and Lazarus. Jesus had come to stay with these friends in their home, as he as now doing with Father Feeley’s illness. He felt that Jesus was visiting him while he was sick, and soon it would be his turn to visit Jesus’ home. I hope we can all welcome Jesus with such open arms, as he welcomes us.

Lord, we pray for the peace in knowing Your presence is with us. Amen.
