Advent is a time of joy.
During this joyful season, we partake in many celebrations, at home, at work, at school. We invite friends and family into our homes, and are invited into other’s homes as well. Advent is a time of sharing our joy with others around us and waiting in hope for the Messiah who comes to visit us.
The sprout that arises in today’s readings is Jesus, on his way to bring new life. When we enter in greater communion with one another and Jesus Christ, we discover more and more the loving and tender face of our Father in heaven.
How can we get closer to Jesus as his birth draws closer to us?
We pray to share the Joy of Jesus and wait together to experience Eternal bliss! Amen.
