Let Go and Let God: Family Reflection Video

Let Go and Let God: Family Reflection Video

Why pray?  |  Strengthening family unity

Rejection is one of the most humiliating feelings we experience.

The painful experience of being rejected in his own hometown hinders Jesus from performing miracles there. What opportunities these people missed because of their judgement! But how often do we miss opportunities every day?

There is a story of a man who was walking along a cliff and suddenly lost his balance and fell, only catching a ledge on his way down. He called and called for anyone to help him, with no answer, until he heard God say “let go and trust in me.” The man waited and then called for help again. How often are we in need of help, yet not willing to give up our doubts and fears?

Let us open our eyes to see opportunities for our lives and for each member of our family. We pray to the Lord.
