Living for Jesus: Family Reflection Video

Strengthening family unity

We must “get up” and walk!

In raising the widow’s son, Jesus shows us that God sees us, hears us, and cares for us. He hears our prayers and usually makes the first move. It is so reassuring to know that God is not ignoring us, but cares deeply about our sufferings.

We are alive by God’s hand; we must not bury his dream for us to live our lives. Author Jesse Romero writes as Catholics, we have to “walk it, talk it preach it, pray it, wrap it, teach it, tell it, write it, type it, live it, give it, wear it, share it, shout it, sing it, scream it, proclaim it. We must live for Jesus.” This may sound like a lot, but for the One who raises us, it is a life lived for him.

How can you and your family do more to live for Jesus today?

Friends, let us pray for the strength to arise and speak our faith today, through Jesus’s renewal in our Spirit, Amen!
